Damage code	Cause	Remedy
09 001 53	Overflow valve on fuel pump Engine does not start even though starter turns or dies again after starting.	1 Remove/install replace fuel pump
	Due to the overflow valve in the pump sticking the fuel supply quantity can decrease until the engine no longer receives a sufficient quantity of fuel or the quantity pumped to the other half of the tank is too low.	Okay parts can be recognized by the production number on the pump module. Use only pumps with imprint 00 T 349 or larger.
	The fuel gauge reading may be incorrect. Following DTC's can be stored in the ME-SFI control module: P201B-016 up to 128 P201C-016 up to 128	Due to restricted availability of parts order parts only in case of complaint.
