	Install
	The old headliner (1) serves as a sample for wiring harness routing
1	Place new headliner (1) on a suitable clean base
2	Support new headliner (1) on suitable spacers, e.g. foamed material pads or Styropor pads	Do not use hard or sharp-edged objects, otherwise the covering of the new headliner (1) will be damaged. The foamed material pads or Styropor pads prevent the new headliner (1) deflecting during the following steps.
3	Measure the projection from the main wiring harness (2), in the area of the paneling on the C-pillar, to the old headliner (1) and transfer to the new main wiring harness (2)
4	Starting in the area of the paneling on the C-pillar, route the new main wiring harness (2) on the new headliner (1) and stick onto the new headliner (1) with approx. 10 cm long adhesive strips at a distance of approx. 10 cm	Press adhesive strip on adequately, otherwise a short-circuit can occur through chafing of the main wiring harness (2) on the roof paneling.

5.1	Separate the foamed material roll, in the area of the rear dome lamp PTS warning indicator, from the old headliner (1) and stick to the new headliner (1) with adhesive strips	On vehicles with code (220a) Parktronic system (PTS) Installation:  Fasten foamed material roll on the new headliner (1) with adhesive strips so that, during subsequent installation of the rear dome lamp PTS warning indicator, the electrical couplings of the new wiring harness for Parktronic system-warning indicator and the wiring harness connection for the rear dome lamp of the main wiring harness (2) can be stowed in the foamed material roll.

6	Prepare new headliner (1) for installation		AR68.30-P-4305P
