  1. Mark separation points and cut with body saw (areas A and B).
  2. Mark separation point on rear fender with aid of template and cut with body saw (area C).

    NOTES Do not damage C-pillar, B-pillar and outer side longitudinal member below.

  3. Expose spot welds and cut out with spot weld cutter (areas D - H).

  4. Expose spot welds and cut out with spot weld cutter (areas I - K).

  5. Expose spot welds and cut out with spot weld cutter (areas L - Q).
  6. Heat rear fender with hot air blower in shaded areas.

    IMPORTANT Shaded areas are foam filled.

  7. Remove rear fender.
  8. Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in shaded areas. Grind spot welding flanges down to bare metal on both sides
  9. Remove grinding and drilling chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  10. Coat insides of spot welding flanges with zinc dust paint.

  11. Cut rear fender to size in area of upper C-pillar with body saw and crimp inward with crimping pliers (arrows).
