- Separate rear outer wheelhouse with body saw (areas A and B)
- Expose spot welds and cut out (areas C and D).
- Expose spot welds on inside of vehicle and cut out (areas J and K).
- Expose spot welds and cut out (area G).
- Expose spot welds and drill with 7 mm dia. bit Ø (area H).
- Expose spot welds on wheelhouse bottom section and cut out (area I).
- Remove rear outer wheelhouse
- Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in shaded areas. Grind spot welding flanges down to bare metal on both sides
- Remove grinding and drilling chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
- Coat insides of spot welding flanges with zinc dust paint.
