- Install new spare foam part (size 68).
- Fit inner C-pillar side wall and C-pillar paneling together with rear fender.
Fasten position of rear fender (inner C-pillar side wall) with check and welding device. On vehicles with sliding roof, clip into water drain hose.
- Remove rear fender.

- Clean weld joints with wire brush.
- Remove grinding and drilling chips with wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
- Perform corrosion protection measures in area of C-pillar paneling to outer rear wheelhouse (arrow).
