- Remove rear outer wheel arch panel using body saw (areas A and B).
- Uncover and mill off spot welds (areas C and D).
- Uncover and mill off spot welds from vehicle interior (areas F and G).
- Uncover and mill off spot welds (area E).
- Uncover and mill off spot welds from underside of wheel arch panel (area H).
- Remove wheel arch panel.
- Grind connection surfaces to bare metal (checked areas). Grind spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.
- Remove grinding and drilling chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
- Coat insides of spot welding flanges with zinc dust paint.
