Install rain sensor wiring harness in headliner - AR68.30-P-4305-08P

Lay new headliner (1) down on suitable clean subsurface.
Shim new headliner (1) with suitable clean spacers, e.g. foam rubber or Styrofoam pads.
Do not use any hard or sharp-edge objects, otherwise the cover of the new headliner (1) can be damaged

The foam rubber and Styrofoam pads prevent the new headliner (1) from sagging when performing the following steps.

Route new rain sensor wiring harness (2) along main wiring harness (3) and glue to new headliner (1) with approx. 10 cm long strips of adhesive tape (4) at an interval of approx. 10 cm.
Do not cross rain sensor wiring harness (2) with main wiring harness (3) and press strips of adhesive tape on sufficiently, otherwise a short circuit can result from chafing on the headliner.

The old headliner (1) serves as a guide for routing the wiring harness. Observe offset of electrical connectors (5, 6)
