- Slide new IRS wiring harness (4) through hole for cable passage (3) and connect with interior protection system transmitter/ receiver (A26/14).
- Pull back new IRS wiring harness (4) through hole for cable passage (3) and arrest interior protection system transmitter/ receiver (A26/14) in IRS installation frame (2).
An excess from the IRS wiring harness (4) prevents the interior protection system transmitter/receiver (A26/14) from completely arresting in the IRS installation frame (2).
- Attach new IRS wiring harness (2) to new headliner (1) with approx. 10 cm long strips of adhesive tape crossways to telephone wiring harness (2) at intervals of approx. 10 cm.
Do not cross wiring harnesses and press strips of adhesive tape on sufficiently, otherwise a short circuit can result from chafing on the roof paneling
The old headliner (1) serves as a guide for routing the wiring harness.
