Malfunction in radio - AF82.64-P-6007A

Damage code Cause Remedy  
  Mounting screws (installation of CD changer on mount) 1 Check length of mounting screws.  
  IMPORTANT Both during standard installation and when retrofitting a CD changer a short circuit can occur due to too long mounting screws (installation of CD changer on mount) during shocks or when cornering resulting in the interruption of the internal radio fuse. IMPORTANT Use only screws with a max. length of 6 mm for fastening the mount on the CD changer.  
  In certain situations one of these screws may press on the printed circuit board and cause a short circuit.
