The recommended wheel/tire combinations only apply if the dimensions are entered in the vehicle registration papers at the factory or if an appropriate parts certificate exists. In the case of tire/wheel combinations which are not entered in the vehicle registration certificate / vehicle title, an appropriate parts certificate / approval certificate must be given to the customer.
All the wheel/tire combinations listed here may only be fitted without further reason when they are listed in the registration papers under items 20 to 23 and 33 or the Technical Inspection Association experts' reports are ready.
The respective size designation of the rim is only binding for the specified vehicle model series. Deviations in the contour of the wheel or the brake system can lead to hitting on adjacent components on other models in spite of the same nominal dimensions and therefore affecting the operating safety.
In the Federal Republic of Germany, modification approval by an officially recognized expert or inspector from a technical testing authority for motor vehicles or by a testing engineer from an officially recognized supervisory organization is required for wheel/tire combinations which require conversion work on the body and/or chassis.
Unless otherwise specified, all rims are permissible in light-alloy versions only.
