MODEL 203
Convenience opening/closing via infrared signal
Networking of components shown on model 203.0
Function requirements:
- C. 15C, C. 15R and C. 15 Off
- No overvoltage or undervoltage
- All doors closed (status: unlocked)
- No other control module sends central opening message
- Hold unlock button on remote control key (A8/1) depressed for longer than 1 s
Operation
Via corresponding:
- Left front door control module (N69/1)
- Right front door control module (N69/2)
- Left rear door control module (N69/3)
- Right rear door control module (N69/4) the CAN message for convenience opening is received via the CAN passenger compartment bus
Via the CAN message the:
- Left front power window motor (M10/3)
- Right front power window motor (M10/4)
- Left rear power window motor (M10/5)
- Right rear power window motor (M10/6) are actuated.
The motors remain actuated for as long as the button on the remote control key is pressed, though for no longer than 25 s.
The power window convenience opening function is carried out even if the windows have not been synchronized.
The convenience opening function is interrupted if:
- the request is no longer received via the CAN bus or
- the function prerequisites listed above are no longer fulfilled.
Deployment of the convenience opening function also opens the sliding/pop-up roof (in models 203.0 and 203.2). In model 203.7 the panorama sliding roof is opened.
Model 203.7 is not equipped with rear door control modules and power window motors.
