Seal area of front footwell - SM68.30-P-0002-01P

Unscrew nuts (1).
Loosen nuts (2).
Remove dust filter housing (3).

Tape A/C housing transient area to the firewall using adhesive tape (4).
Ensure that the control flap of the A/C housing stays unobstructed.

The air humidity sensor (B 31/2) must not be taped as otherwise the correct air humidity cannot be determined.
Install dust filter housing (3).
Screw in nuts (1, 2).

Check damping (1).
Check that the cover of body openings is correct and check crack formation in damping (1).

The electrical lines (2, 3) must be routed above the damping (1).
Replace the damping (1) in passenger-side footwell.
Ensure that the electrical lines (2, 3) are routed above the damping (1).

Tape damping (1) with adhesive tape.
Tape electrical lines (2, 3) to damping (1) using adhesive tape.

Check damping (4).
Check installation position and crack formation of damping (1).
Replace the damping (4) in driver-side footwell.
