Unlock by opening a door, function - GF80.20-P-3004PP

MODEL 203.0/ 2/ 7 

The doors can basically be opened from the inside.

The corresponding door lock is unlocked mechanically at least once and the central locking (CL) is returned to the status before the last locking operation.

Open a door from inside 

The vehicle is locked via the interior central locking switch (N72/1s6) (up to 23.4.04) and the lock CL interior switch (N72/1s26) (as of 24.4.04) or the automatic lock/relock function:

With global setting:

• When the driver or passenger door is opened, the vehicle is unlocked centrally once

  This locking operation is accomplished only below the limit speed for the automatic locking

• When a rear door is opened (only model 203.0/2) the corresponding door lock is unlocked mechanically.

With selective setting:

• When the driver or passenger door is opened, the corresponding door lock is unlocked mechanically.
• When a rear door is opened (only model 203.0/2) the corresponding door lock is unlocked mechanically.

The vehicle was locked with the transmitter key (A8/1):

With global setting:

• Insert transmitter key (A8/1) into EIS control unit (N73).

  Interior central locking switch (N72/1s6) (up to 23.4.04) and lock CL interior switch (N72/1s26) (as of 24.4.04) and unlock CL interior switch (N72/1s16) (as of 24.4.04) are enabled, however, the vehicle remains locked

• When the driver or passenger door is opened, the vehicle is unlocked globally.
• When a rear door is opened (only model 203.0/2) the corresponding door lock is unlocked mechanically.

The vehicle was locked with the transmitter key (A8/1):

With selective setting:

• Insert transmitter key (A8/1) into EIS control unit (N73).

  Interior central locking switch (N72/1s6) (up to 23.4.04) and unlock CL interior switch (N72/1s16) (as of 24.4.04) are enabled, however, the vehicle remains locked

• When the driver's door is opened, the vehicle is unlocked selectively.
• When the passenger door or rear door is opened (not on model 203.7) the corresponding door lock is unlocked mechanically.

On vehicles with code (551a) anti-theft alarm (ATA):

ATA alarm is triggered by unlocking a door lock mechanically

The triggered ATA alarm can be terminated by actuating the "Lock" or "Unlock" transmit buttons on the transmitter key (A8/1) or by inserting the transmitter key (A8/1) into the EIS control unit (N73).
