Vehicle unlocked globally 

The trunk lid (model 203.0), the rear door (model 203.2) or the tailgate (model 203.7), can be opened by actuating the exterior actuation trunk lid switch, when the lock cylinder is in the 0° position (1)

Up to 30.6.02: If the lock cylinder is in the 90° position (3), it is only possible to open by turning the lock cylinder to the 0° position (1) with the mechanical key.

Vehicle unlocked selectively or locked globally 

To open the trunk lid (model 203.0), the rear door (model 203.2) or the tailgate (model 203.7), the lock cylinder must be turned to the 30° position and held with the mechanical key, and then the exterior actuation trunk lid switch must be opened.
