The driver's door can be locked and unlocked with the mechanical key (1) This does not change the status of the central locking, i.e. the other locking points are not unlocked or locked.

The anti-theft alarm (ATA) (on vehicles with code (551a) anti-theft alarm (ATA)) is not disarmed The triggered alarm can be terminated by inserting the transmitter key into the EIS control unit.
