Destination guidance is the generation and output of driving recommendations, in order to guide the driver to the desired destination.
The prerequisites of destination guidance include:
- Continuous location finding in operation (accomplished automatically)
- The trip destination has been entered
- the route has been calculated.
The radio and navigation unit (A2/56) continuously compares the data of the route calculation with the data of the continuous position finding.
