	Check
1	Mount the inner tie rod with axial joint	Only screw in finger-tight on the left and right side.
2	Twist the steering gear at the input shaft once to the left and right	Twist the steering gear all the way.
3	Adjust the steering gear to the marking (5) and marking (6)	Marking (5) must match marking (6) exactly otherwise a malfunction of the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) can occur.
4	Detach inner tie rod with axial joint on both sides
5	Use a depth gauge to compare the distances from the end of the gear rack to the stop ring (16) in the steer jacket (14) on both sides	If the distances are not the same, the protective cap (4) must be mounted again. As otherwise the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) may malfunction:↓
