Fig 2: Identifying Rear Door Handle Bolts - Shown On Model 203 With Classic Or Avantgarde Equipment Version
Important note on loosening bolts with right-hand or left-hand thread.
Bolts with right-hand or left-hand thread are present for mounting the cover on the rear door handle, depending on the equipment version.
- On Classic and Avantgarde: Bolt with left-hand thread
- On Elegance: Bolt with right-hand thread
Peculiarity: Regardless of whether bolts with left-hand or right-hand thread are installed, the bolt must be loosened by turning to the left (counterclockwise).
Important note to prevent damage while loosening
- On Elegance equipment version (right-hand thread), the bolt (3b) is unscrewed as usual
- On Classic or Avantgarde equipment version (left-hand thread), the bolt (3a) is screwed in against the stop. If an attempt is made to turn the bolt further, the bolt can be screwed too far and the cover on the door handle be damaged.
