| 1 | Remove hazard warning triangle (4) | ||
| 2 | Remove bracket (5) | ||
| 3 | Remove hinge lever cover (3) | ||
| 4 | Remove trunk lid paneling (2) | ||
| 5 | Unscrew nut (8) and bolts (7) and remove covering (6) | ||
| 6 | Disconnect electrical connector from trunk lid lock (1) | ||
| 7 | Loosen bolts for trunk lid lock (10) | ||
| 8 | Disconnect electrical connector from pushbutton lock (11) | ||
| 9 | Unscrew bolts for pushbutton lock (12) | ||
| 10 | Open pushbutton lock cover (13) | ||
| 11 | Unhook cable (14) | ||
| 12 | Unscrew bolts for striker eye (16) | ||
| 13 | Remove striker eye (15) from rear end center section | ||
| 14 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| Adjust | |||
| 15 | Screw in bolts for trunk lid lock (10) | ||
| 16 | Tighten bolts (10) | *BA88.50-P-1002-01A | |
| 17 | Align striker eye (15) | ||
| 18 | Check trunk lid (9) fit in relation to rear fenders | ||
| Gaps on hoods, doors and lids | *BE60.00-P-1003-01E | ||
