Remove/install master cylinder - AR25.20-P-0100V

MODELS 171.4 with TRANSMISSION 716.6

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/Install    
DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates below the hoist support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. -
DANGER Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury  caused by brake fluid coming into contact with skin and eyes. Pour brake fluid only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid. -
NOTES Brake fluid notes   AH42.50-P-0001-01A
1 Remove left cover below instrument panel   AR68.10-P-1500V
2 Remove front cover (1) of pedal assembly (2)   AR29.10-P-0320V
3 Remove foot controls (2).   AR29.10-P-0300V
4 Remove rear cover (3) of the pedal assembly (2)   AR29.10-P-0320V
5 Lever out bolt (4). INSPECT 4 Check bolt (4a) for damage and wear, replace if necessary.  
    IMPORTANTInstallation:  Grease bolt (4) lightly. Long-life grease *BR00.45-Z-1001-06A 
6 Lever out bolt (4b). INSPECT 4 Check bolt (4a) for damage and wear, replace if necessary.
IMPORTANTInstallation:  Grease bolt (4) lightly.
 
    Long-life grease *BR00.45-Z-1001-06A 
7 Remove master cylinder (4) from pedal assembly (2)    
  Install in the reverse order    
8 Bleed clutch operating system   AR25.20-P-0070V 
INSPECT Check     
9 Check the clutch operator for proper operation and leaktightness
