Active Service System (ASSYST PLUS), driver information - GF00.20-P-0004-02SK

Service indicator can be called up by driver 

The function requirement is that the transmitter key (A8/1) is in position "circuit 15R ON", "circuit 15 ON" or that the vehicle is driving.

The following procedure is required to display the service indicator upon the request of the driver:

IMPORTANT The following service indicators are shown using "Service A" as an example.

Remaining distance

This display is shown when the service indicator is manually loaded, or the warning threshold has been reached.

Remaining time 

IMPORTANT This display is not shown when the time maintenance function is activated. This can be the case for vehicles with low annual mileage.

This display is shown for vehicles with low annual mileage when the service display is manually loaded, or when the warning threshold has been reached.

Service interval expired (i.e. remaining distance or remaining time) 

IMPORTANT In most cases, the remaining distance is shown.

This display is shown as soon as the service interval has expired. The remaining distance or remaining time is now 0 km or 0 days, respectively. These values are not displayed.

Service interval exceeded (remaining distance exceeded)

This display appears as soon as the service interval (remaining distance) is exceeded by more than 100 km.

IMPORTANT This display is not shown when the time-based servicing scheme (remaining time) is activated. This can be the case for vehicles with low annual mileage.
