Remove/install actuator motor for vent flaps - AR83.10-P-2012V

MODEL 171.4 with CODE (581b) Convenience automatic air conditioning

	Removal/installation
1	Remove instrument panel		AR68.10-P-1000V
2	Disconnect electrical connector (1).
3	Unscrew bolts (2)
4	Remove fresh air flaps actuator motor (M2/21)	Installation: The fresh air flaps have to be closed during the installation of the fresh air flaps actuator motor (M2/21).
5.1	Disconnect adapter (3) from vent flap actuator motor (M2/21)	When installing a new fresh air flaps actuator motor (M2/21). Installation:  Observe positioning of toothing (arrows) for adapter (3) and for fresh air flaps actuator motor (M2/21).
6.1	Release locking lugs (5) and remove relay lever (4)	When replacing the relay lever (4). Installation:  Ensure correct position of bridges (7) in the grooves (8) and the lever drive (6) on the adapter (3).
7	Install in the reverse order
8	Synchronize the actuator motors	Menu option, Actuation, Normalization of actuator motors
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS, read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		Diagnosis system STAR DIAGNOSIS	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
