Detach heat shield, fasten - AR49.00-P-1000-02VA

Risk of injury caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts

Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and nondeburred vehicle parts. Deburr repair panels.

1. Unscrew nuts (1a) from left and right underfloor paneling (1)
2. Unscrew sheet metal nuts (2a)
3. Remove heat shield (2) from stud bolts on frame body and slide toward rear
4. Fasten in opposite order
