| 2 | Expose wiring harness (3) of Vario roof open/lowered limit switch (S69/11) up to separation point (arrow) | ||

| 3 | Fold rear shelf (4) upward by hand until bolt (5) is accessible | ||
| 4 | Unscrew bolt (5). | ||
| 5 | Cut wiring harness (3) for Vario roof open/lowered limit switch (S69/11) at marking (arrow) and remove Vario roof open/lowered limit switch (S96/11) | ||

| 6 | Position suitable heat-shrinkable tube over lines in wiring harness (3) | ||
