| 1 | Remove paneling at front of Vario roof | AR68.30-P-4350V | |
| 2 | Unscrew bolt (1) until bracket (2) can be pivoted to side | ||
| 3 | Pivot holder (2) to side and unclip Vario roof "locked" limit switch (right rotary tumbler) (S69/3) from right catch outer section (3) with suitable screwdriver | ||
| 4 | Cut electrical wiring harness (4), approx. 15 to 20 cm from Vario roof "locked" limit switch (right rotary tumbler) (S69/3) | ||

| 5 | Position suitable heat-shrinkable tube over lines in electrical wiring harness (4) | ||
| Risk of injury with burns to skin and eyes, risk of poisoning from inhaling fumes during soft soldering. | Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection. Ensure that the work area is adequately ventilated. Secure mains cables. Avoid sources of fire in working area. | - | |
