Remove/install and adjust trunk lid lock and striker eye - AR88.50-P-5020V

	Remove
	Risk of injury  to fingers being jammed or pinched  when Remove/install or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/tailgate or sliding roof.	When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.	-
1	Remove paneling at trunk lid		AR68.30-P-8150V
2	Open tie strap (3)
3	Unhook release cable (4) from trunk lid handle (5).
4	Disconnect electrical connector (6) from trunk lid lock (1)
5	Remove bolts (7)
6	Remove trunk lid lock (1) from trunk lid
7	Unscrew bolts (8) and remove striker eye (2) from rear center section	Secure bolts (8) against falling down.
	Install
8	Position striker eye (2) at installation location and tighten bolts (8) only lightly.	Secure bolts (8) against falling down. Tighten bolts (8) when adjusting trunk lid.
9	Position trunk lid lock (1) at installation location and tighten bolts (7)	Trunk lid lock (1) cannot be adjusted.

10	Connect electrical connector (6) to trunk lid lock (1)
11	Hook release cable (4) into trunk lid handle (5)
12	Tie release cable (4) and electric wiring harness (9) together with new cable strap (3)
13	Check whether trunk lid lock (1) can be locked and unlocked. For this purpose lock trunk lid lock (1) with screwdriver, then unlock trunk lid lock (1) manually with trunk lid handle (5)
14	Install paneling on trunk lid		AR68.30-P-8150V
	Adjust
15	Adjust height of trunk lid	Refer to: ↓
		Adjust trunk lid	AR88.50-P-5200V
