	Removing
	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	-
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		-
1	Remove transmission (1)		AR26.10-P-0020V
2	Unscrew bolts (2) of pressure plate (3).	In order to prevent tilting or warping of the pressure plate (3), the bolts (2) must be loosened in steps in a crosswise pattern.
3	Remove pressure plate (3) and clutch disc (4)
	Checking
4	Check pressure plate (3) and clutch plate (4)	If clutch plate (4) is burnt: ↓	AR25.10-P-0050-01V
		Check master cylinder for clutch operator.	AR25.20-P-0102P
5	Check central clutch operator (5)	Check for wear and leaktightness, if necessary: ↓
		Replace central clutch operator (5).	AR26.40-P-0345V
6	Inspect flywheel (6).	Check for wear and damage, if necessary: ↓
		install new flywheel (6).	AR03.30-P-8001V
7	Check starter ring gear	Check for wear and damage, if necessary: ↓
		install new flywheel (6).	AR03.30-P-8001V
8	Check guide bearing (7)	Check for damage and wear, if necessary: ↓
		install new flywheel (6).	AR03.30-P-8001V
9	Check radial shaft sealing ring (1a) and sealing cover (1b)	Check for leaks, if necessary: ↓
		Replace radial shaft sealing ring (1a) and sealing cover (1b).	AR26.40-P-0335V
	Clean
10	Clean friction surface (6a) of pressure plate (6), degrease and dress with coarse abrasive cloth	LU cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1028-04A
11	Clean friction surface (3a) of pressure plate (3), degrease and dress with coarse abrasive cloth.	LU cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1028-04A
	Install
12	Using centering tool (01), attach clutch plate (4) to pressure plate (3) centrally	Its correct direction of installation is specified on the clutch plate (4). Incorrect installation leads to damage to the clutch and transmission (1). Follow the operating instructions for the centering tool (01).

13	Fit pressure plate (3) with clutch plate (4) on flywheel (6) and tighten.	In order to prevent tilting or warping of the pressure plate (3), the bolts (2) must be tightened in steps in a crosswise pattern.

14	Remove centering tool (01).
15	Install transmission (1).		AR26.10-P-0020V
