| 1 | Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit | ||
| 2 | Open engine hood and raise to vertical position | AR88.40-P-1000V | |
| 3 | Undo screws (1) in battery cover (2) and remove battery cover (2) | ||
| 4 | Release latching hook (3) and remove C-AAC [K-KLA] multifunction sensor (B31) from bracket (4) | ||
| 5 | Disconnect plug and socket connection (5) | ||
| 6 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 7.1 | Read out fault memory | When installing a new C-AAC [K-KLA] multifunction sensor (B31). | |
| Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS, read out fault memory | AD00.00-P-2000-04A | ||
