Remove/install rear bumper - AR88.20-P-2200V

MODEL 171.4 except CODE (220) Parktronic system (PTS)

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install    
1 Remove trim from rear end center assembly   AR68.30-P-4785V
2 Unscrew bolts (2) on left and right side of vehicle IMPORTANTInstallation:  Adjust transition between left and right rear fender and rear bumper (1) and tighten bolts (2)  
3 Remove expanding clips (3)    
4 Open service flap (4) and unscrew bolts (5)    
5 Unscrew nuts (6) IMPORTANTInstallation:  Adjust gap between trunk lid and rear bumper (1) and tighten nuts (6).  
    Gap between trunk lid and bumper *BE60.00-P-1003-01L 
6 Remove rear bumper (1) from vehicle with aid of helper IMPORTANTInstallation:  Ensure that rear bumper (1) is seated correctly in retaining rails (7).  
7 Install in the reverse order    
TEST AND ADJUSTMENT VALUES FOR GAP DIMENSIONS

Trunk lid tip to rear fender Dim. "E" mm 5.0 (+1.5)
