Remove/install hood hinge - AR88.40-P-3060V

	Remove/install
1	Remove engine hood		AR88.40-P-3000V
	Injury hazard  Gas-operated struts are under high pressure and can pinch and crush body parts during work	Lift retainer (3) with screwdriver and remove gas-operated strut (4) from left or right hood hinge (1)	-
2	Only remove and install gas-operated struts in the relaxed position and when the components are secured properly.	Do not remove retainer (3) because otherwise, the tension on the retainer (3) would be lost when reinstalled.
3	Unscrew bolts (2) and remove engine hood hinge (1)	Installation:  Arrest hood hinge (1) with bolts (2). Tighten bolts (2) after adjusting engine hood.
4	Reinstall in opposite order
5	Adjust engine hood		AR88.40-P-3020V
