TELE AID telediagnosis 

Either the roadside assistance call (wrench symbol) or the MB Info call (letter "i" symbol) is triggered using the MB-Info and breakdown assistance button group (S93/6) by pressing in the relevant direction.

The system is activated by pressing the MB-Info and breakdown assistance button group (S93/6) for more than t = 0.5 seconds. Activation of the system is indicated by flashing of the relevant light emitting diode (LED) in the MB-Info and breakdown assistance button group (S93/6).

Irrespective of the request, the MB-Info and breakdown assistance button group (S93/6) is read in via a discrete line by the emergency call system control unit (N123/4). A Short Message Service (SMS) message is sent automatically by the emergency call system control unit (N123/4). A voice connection to the service center is set up at the same time.
