Emergency call telegram generation, function - GF82.95-P-2004R
MODELS 230 up to 31.5.04 with CODE (855) TELE AID
After an emergency call is triggered the D2B telephone and TELE AID transmitter/receiver (A35/17) automatically generates an emergency call telegram.
It includes the following information:
- Location of the vehicle: degrees longitude and latitude
- Type of emergency call actuation: automatic or manual with the SOS pushbutton switch (S93/3),
- Crash parameter from restraint system control unit (N2/7) and from external tilting cone sensor (B66),
- Identification number for identifying vehicle,
- Time of emergency call.
The emergency call telegram is relayed to the service provider via mobile telephone (digital network) and is automatically decoded there.
Up the three emergency call telegrams are stored in the telephone transmitter/receiver and TELE AID, D2B (A35/17). If already more than three emergency call telegrams are stored the oldest telegram is written over.
