	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit	On vehicles with code (889) Keyless Go, press the Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until the ignition is switched off. Remove the Keyless Go transmitter card or transmitter key from the vehicle and store beyond the reach of the transmitter (min. 2 m).
2	Remove left side paneling in trunk		AR68.30-P-4800R
3	Remove nuts (1) and swivel out control unit bracket (2)
4	Disconnect electrical connector (3) and antenna line (5) from telephone interface (A34/4)
5	Disconnect fiber optic cable coupling (4) from telephone interface (A34/4)	To avoid damaging them, do not kink fiber optic cables, route over sharp edges or bend in radii smaller than 25 mm.
6	Cover fiber optic cable connector (4) and equipment connector at telephone interface (A34/4).		AR82.95-P-0005-01A
7	Disconnect electrical connector (3) and antenna line connector (5) from telephone interface (A34/4)
8	Remove telephone interface (A34/4)
9	Install in the reverse order
