	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Buffer basic data of navigation processor (N41/1) in STAR DIAGNOSIS	When replacing navigation processor (N41/1). Installation:  Transfer buffered basic data to new navigation processor (N41/1).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
2	Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit	On vehicles with code (889) Keyless Go, press the Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until the ignition is switched off. Remove the Keyless Go transmitter card or transmitter key from the vehicle and store beyond the reach of the transmitter (min. 2 m).
3	Remove left side paneling in trunk		AR68.30-P-4800R
4	Remove nuts (1) and swivel out bracket with navigation processor (N41/1) until navigation processor (N41/1) is accessible from rear
5	Disconnect electrical connector (3) and GPS antenna connector (4)
6	Unplug fiber-optic cable connector (2)	To avoid damaging them, do not kink fiber optic cables, route over sharp edges or bend in radii smaller than 25 mm.
7	Cover fiber optic cable coupling (2) and equipment connection on navigation processor (N41/1).		AR82.95-P-0005-01A
8	Swivel back bracket with navigation processor (N41/1)
9	Push removal plates (6) into navigation processor (N41/1) (arrows) and pull navigation processor (N41/1) out of bracket	After removal, press back retaining springs (5) on both sides of navigation processor (N41/1) and pull removal plates (6) out of navigation processor (N41/1).
		Installation:  The retaining springs (5) must latch into the bracket.	*WH58.30-Z-1008-19A
10	Install in the reverse order
