Remove/install bulbs of headlamp unit - AR82.10-P-1201R

MODEL 230.4## ## as of 041865 up to 28.1.08 except CODE (809) Model year 2009

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install    
DANGER Risk of death  caused by high voltage levels present at xenon headlamps.
Risk of explosion/risk of fire  due to highly flammable materials in the area of damaged xenon bulbs
Risk of injury  from UV light, hot components at xenon headlamps and glass splinters when xenon bulbs crack
Risk of poisoning  from inhaling mercury vapors and from swallowing/skin contact with poisonous salts and mercury compounds
Do not come into contact with parts that are under high voltage. Persons with active electronic implants  (e.g. heart pacemakers) must never work on xenon headlamps. Switch off entire lighting system. Wear insulating safety shoes, safety glasses and protective gloves. Remove highly inflammable materials from the hazard area. Ensure the work area is adequately ventilated. AS82.10-Z-0001-01A
1 Detach right front lamp unit (E2) and pull out towards the front until the lamp bracket (13) and the cover (14) are accessible When removing right low beam (E2e2) or right turn signal light (E2e5). AR82.10-P-4730R 
2 Turn bulb socket (13) to left and remove    
3 Pull left turn signal light (E1e5) or right turn signal light (E2e5) out of lamp bracket (13) IMPORTANT Do not touch the bulbs with bare fingers, but use a grease-free, soft cloth.  
4 Unlock housing cover (14) (arrow) and remove    
5 Turn xenon headlamp ignition module plug (15) to the left and remove IMPORTANT Observe correct installation position.  
6 Turn retaining collar (16) to the left and remove together with left low beam (E1e2) or right low beam (E2e2) IMPORTANT Do not touch the bulbs with bare fingers, but use a grease-free, soft cloth.
IMPORTANTInstallation:  First insert left low beam (E1e2) or right low beam (E2e2) with the notch pointing up and hold. Then install retaining collar (16), paying attention to "Top" inscription.
 
7 Install in the reverse order
