	Remove/Install
	Notes on avoiding damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1.1	Transmit basic data of the radio (A2) into STAR DIAGNOSIS	Only when replacing the radio (A2). Installation: Transmit basic data from STAR DIAGNOSIS into the radio (A2).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
2	Remove cover on center console		AR68.20-P-2350R
3	Remove bolts (1)
4	Pull radio (A2) out of instrument panel (2)	Pull out radio (A2) until the electrical connectors, the antenna line, and the fiber optic cable connector are accessible.
5	Separate electrical connectors and antenna line at rear of radio (A2)
6	Separate fiber optic cable connector at rear of radio (A2) and cover fiber optic cable connector and device connector	Do not kink fiber optic cable, route over sharp edges or route in radii smaller than 25 mm to prevent damaging the fiber optic cable.
		Cover fiber optic cable	AR82.95-P-0005-01A
7	Install in the reverse order
8	Check radio (A2) for proper function
