Climate control coolant temperature sensor, function - GF83.40-P-2125-01I

Function

The climate control coolant temperature sensor measures the temperature of the coolant and transfers the value measured to the automatic A/C pushbutton control module via the electronic ignition/ starter switch control module and CAN bus. At a coolant temperature of 190°C to 127 °C the A/C compressor output is reduced linearly, at a temperature above 127 °C the A/C compressor is switched off by the pushbutton control module via the CAN bus and the left signal-acquisition and actuation module. The coolant temperature sensor operates within the range of -40°C to +214°C.
