The SVMCM multifunction control module transmits the requests of the PAS control module to the passenger compartment CAN bus (CAN B) (interface to standard vehicle electrical system). For actuating:

• Main-beam headlamps
• Turn signal lamps
• Central locking

In combination with windshield defroster: 

Control of all functions (switch-on time, switch-off) of windshield defroster.
