The trailer recognition control module (N28/1) sets up the interface between the trailer's lighting system and the vehicle's exterior lighting.
The task of the trailer recognition control module (N28/1) is:
- to detect and monitor a connected trailer, and in combination with the vehicle's exterior lights to actuate the trailer's lamps.
- monitoring of the connected trailer in combination with the anti-theft alarm system (ATA) when the vehicle is parked.
