ME-SFI deceleration fuel shutoff, function - GF07.61-P-4019SM
ENGINE 113.986
ENGINE 113.987
ENGINE 113.988
ENGINE 113.989
The braking effect of the engine in the overrun mode is increased and the fuel consumption is reduced by means of the deceleration fuel shutoff
In the overrun mode, the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) switches off the fuel injection valves (Y62), which are dependent on the coolant temperature, gear, and rpm, if
- the accelerator pedal is not operated (detection on the basis of the actual value signal from the accelerator pedal sensor (B37))
- Vehicle is not cruise control mode
The fuel injection valves are operated again, if:
- Accelerator pedal is operated (detection on the basis of the actual value signal from the accelerator pedal sensor)
