2	Open the bleed screws (56) to release the pressure from the ABC system	The engine must be switched off for at least 5 minutes. To prevent the body of the vehicle from sinking rapidly, open the bleed screw (56) slowly to limit the flow rate of the emerging hydraulic fluid. Allow the emerging hydraulic fluid to drain into a suitable container.

3	Remove pressure reservoir for front suspension (14)		AR32.50-P-0010N
4	Disconnect the high-pressure lines to the left front strut (FB1) and the right front strut (FB2) from the ABC valve body for the front suspension (Y36/1)		*BA32.50-P-1002-01A
5	Disconnect the lines to the reservoir (T) and the high-pressure line from the tandem pump (P) from the ABC valve body for the front suspension (Y36/1)	After switching off the engine wait at least 15 minutes before disconnecting the line to the reservoir (T) and the high-pressure line from the tandem pump (P) to allow the system to depressurize completely.

6	Unscrew the nuts (14b) and remove the ABC valve body for the front suspension (Y36/1) together with its mounting bracket		*BA32.50-P-1010-01A
7	Disconnect electrical plug-in connection (14c) and plug-in connection (14d) from the ABC valve body for the front suspension (Y36/1)	Installation: The electrical plugs and connections on the ABC valve body for the front suspension (Y36/1) are color coded; take care to ensure that they are reconnected in the correct positions.
8	Detach the ABC valve body for the front suspension (Y36/1) from its mounting bracket		*BA32.50-P-1006-01A
9	Install in the reverse order
	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns when working in engine during starting procedure	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
