	Checking
	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the running engine	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
	Risk of injury  to skin or eyes from hydraulic fluid spraying out under pressure. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing hydraulic fluid.	Depressurize the hydraulic system completely before starting any work on the system. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses.	AS00.00-Z-0013-01A
	Before opening the hydraulic circuit of the Active Body Control (ABC) clean the area around the separation point thoroughly. Even the smallest dirt particles introduced into the hydraulic components can lead to malfunctions and damage to the Active Body Control
1.1	Unload the vehicle	The fluid level can only be measured correctly when the vehicle is ready to drive and unladen.
2	Raise the vehicle level when the engine is running and lower to the normal level	To do this, press the level control switch repeatedly. The indicator lamps in the level control switch must go out.
3	Switch off ignition	Afterwards wait for a stabilization period of approx. 5 minutes
	Clean
4	Clean the expansion reservoir (2) in the area of the filler opening and of the dipstick (2a)
5	Pull dipstick (2a) out of expansion reservoir (2) and wipe with a lint free cloth
6	Push the dipstick (2a) into the expansion reservoir (2), pull out again and read off fluid level on the dipstick (2a)	Read off the fluid level on the dipstick (2a) on the side with the inscription "ENGINE OFF UNLADEN". The fluid level must be between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks.
7.1	Correct the fluid level in the expansion reservoir (2) if necessary	Only use the funnel (060) for refilling. Clean the funnel (060) before use and do not use other operating fluids for filling, otherwise malfunctions and damage threaten the Active Body Control (ABC). If the fluid level is too low, determine the cause and eliminate against a separate order.
