Spherically-shaped steel tank with oil chamber (a) and gas chamber (b), separated by a diaphragm. The gas chamber is filled to 100 bar.

The diaphragm adapts its shape to the necessary chamber volume of the oil. In this case, the diaphragm alters its shape in the spherically-shaped housing of the pressure reservoir and compresses the gas.
