Pressing off and attaching supporting joint at lower wishbone - AR33.20-P-0440-02IW

TORQUE SPECIFICATION WHEEL LOCATION, HUB

Pushing off 

  1. Unscrew self-locking nut of supporting joint (7) in lower transverse control arm (4).
  2. SPECIAL TOOL Attach thrust piece (07a).
  3. Use SPECIAL TOOL puller (046) to pry off supporting joint (7).

    NOTES Do not damage rubber boot, as otherwise lubricant may leak from supporting joint (7) and this will lead to increased wear.

  4. SPECIAL TOOL Remove puller (046) SPECIAL TOOL and thrust piece (07a).

    Installation 

  5. Clean tapered connection.

    IMPORTANT The cone and thread must be free of grease and oil

  6. Replace self-locking nut and screw on TORQUE SPECIFICATION .

    IMPORTANT Counter ball head with an Allen wrench if necessary.
