Damage code	Cause	Remedy
82 485 73	Both airbag control unit and sidebag sensors must be made by the same manufacturer. When mixing different brands the fault codes B 1310 and B 1311 (communications error) will be stored in the airbag control unit and cannot be deleted from the module memory. Other malfunctions are also possible.	Recent events cause us to emphasize again that proper replacement of either control unit or sensor does require both equipment items to be of the same brand (Bosch or Temic).
