Remove/install rear suspension strut - AR32.25-P-1016MB

Installation	Replace self-locking nuts and bolts
	Special information on AIRmatic	Model 220	AH32.22-P-1000-02I
1	Reduce pressure in rear suspension struts.	Diagnosis system STAR DIAGNOSIS Installation:  During recharging, the wheels should never be in contact with the floor; refilling with the suspension compressed leads to destruction of the air bellows in the suspension strut (41). Fill to 5 bar.	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
2	Remove rear wheel
			AP40.10-P-4050Z
3	Remove spring link (72)		AR35.20-P-0114MB
4	Unplug damping unit connector (Y53x1/Y54x1).
5	Remove cover (arrow) in rear shelf.
6	Unscrew pressure line connection (41a).	Residual pressure in strut up to 3.5 bar. If residual pressure valve is damaged, replace the strut (41). Plug the pressure line with blind plug for the duration of the repair operations. If pressure line or its connection fittings are damaged:↓	*BA32.25-P-1006-04B
		Recondition AIRmatic pressure line connection.	AR32.22-P-2001-02I
7	Unscrew nuts (41b).	Do not damage C-pillar paneling. Installation  : Fit nuts (41b) and tighten after filling the suspension strut in the ready to drive vehicle.

8	Remove suspension strut (41).	Do not damage brake hose. When installing new or used suspension struts (41), check their condition. ↓
		Check minimum installation length of suspension struts and if necessary: ↓	AR32.25-P-1017-02I
	Dispose of suspension strut.	Model 220	OS32.25-P-0122-01J
9	Install in the reverse order
10	Check AIRmatic for leaks.		AR32.22-P-8100I
