Remove/install hydraulic line of power steering - AR46.25-P-3015M

Hydraulic line (supply line) from expansion reservoir to power steering pump

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/Install     
NOTES Before opening the hydraulic system the area surrounding the separation point should be cleaned thoroughly. Even the smallest dirt particles, introduced into the hydraulic components, can lead to malfunctions and a total failure of the hydraulic system    
1 Open engine hood   AR88.40-P-1000M
2 1 Remove left engine intake air duct (1) upstream of the air cleaner housing    
3 Suction off oil out of expansion reservoir (2) of power steering pump (4) SPECIAL TOOL Hand pump Figure
4 Detach supply line (3) from expansion reservoir (2) and from power steering pump (4) IMPORTANT Seal connections immediately with SPECIAL TOOL plugs.

    COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS Hose clamp pliers with Bowden cable *WH58.30-Z-1017-02A 
5 Install in the reverse order    
6 Fill and bleed power steering pump (4)   AR46.30-P-0010N 
7 Check power steering for proper operation and hydraulic line connections for leaks
