	Checking
1	Check backrest locking mechanism control cable adjustment	With backrest locking mechanism correctly adjusted, there should only be a small amount of play between the backrest release handle (2) and the backrest release housing (3) in the locked position. If the backrest release is incorrectly adjusted, an appropriate warning appears in the multifunction display.
	Adjustment
2	Remove lower seat frame trim		AR91.10-P-1200N
3	Check backrest locking mechanism stop and adjust if necessary	When the backrest lock is correctly adjusted, the backrest engages on both sides easily and without play.	AR91.10-P-1472N
4	Check control cable installation direction	Control cable (1) must be correctly attached to top of backrest release handle (2): ↓
		Removing, installing backrest release	AR91.10-P-1460N
5	Lift safety catch (5) and adjust control cable (1) by twisting on holder (6)	Adjust control cable (1) so that when the backrest is released there is only a little play between the backrest release handle (2) and the backrest release housing (3)
