	Remove/install
	Hazardous  due to slipping off or tilting of the vehicle off the lifting platform	Align vehicle lifting platform posts and position the four mounting plates on the lifting support strongpoints as instructed by the automotive manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
1	Remove engine compartment paneling		AR61.20-P-1105M
2	Remove fan shroud with suction fan (1)	Separate plug connection of suction fan.	AR20.40-P-6800AC
3	Attach guard plate for radiator / condenser
	Guard plate for radiator/condenser		WF58.50-P-0110-01A
4	Remove poly V-belt (2)	Installation:  Arrest clamping device using drift or pin (diameter 5 mm).	AR13.22-P-1202L
5	Remove belt pulley/ vibration damper (4)		AR03.30-P-1600L
6	Remove crankshaft radial seal (5)	Do not damage crankshaft and mounting hole for crankshaft radial seal. Use a clean cloth as a base. Use a screwdriver to press it out. Installation:  Circumference and sealing lip of the crankshaft radial seal as well as the mating contact surface on the vibration damper must be free of oil and grease.	AR03.20-P-3000-01B

7	Install in the reverse order
	Risk of accident  due to automatic starting off when engine is running. Injury hazard  due to crimped connection and combustion when meshing during starting procedure or when engine is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving off by itself. 8	Run engine and inspect for leaks	Find the oil leak after spraying the cleaned and dried surrounding area with MB contrast spray.
