1	Remove automatic transmission		AR27.10-P-0500I
2	Dismount flywheel/drive plate		AR03.30-P-8001C
3	Remove end cover (1)	Pry off end cover (1) carefully at both points (magnifying lens) with a slanted screwdriver. The crankshaft radial sealing ring (2) must always be replaced when the end cover (1) is removed. Observe fitted sleeves (magnifying lens) when pressing on end cover (1)! End cover (1) is made out of magnesium alloy. Installation:  Observe application of sealing compound to end cover (1):↓

		Make sure that no sealing compound enters the oil ducts, otherwise this can lead to engine damage.

4	Replace rear crankshaft radial sealing ring (2)	The rear crankshaft radial sealing ring (2) must only be removed once the end cover (1) has been removed. Installation:  Circumference and lip of crankshaft radial sealing ring (2) as well as counter tread on the crankshaft must be free of oil and grease.	AR03.20-P-3063L
5	Install in the reverse order	Before installing transmission, inspect for oil leaks!
